Been spending my time out at surf camp in Morro Bay....Otherwise known as my pal Noah's house....Noah is what you could call a top notch environmentalist...Things are pretty efficient around here, the latest step is the composting toilet....yes pooping takes place outside here in a ditch with a nice wooden cover....Even all peeing goes on outdoors at a different spot.....yoou start to notice all the little touches, like saving the pasta water to for the house plants, dune plants around the wetsuit hose down area that can handle all the water and salts, surf racks on the bikes...If you learn how to trully consume and get all the possible uses out of the items you do use, you see that life can be rather cheap living in a world of abbundance....Noah's lifestyle is not for all, but just the worldview it offers you really opens you up simplyfying ant that smarter living is really a better answer taking care of our little planet.....I was here mainly to surf though, as a big storm near Antartica sent a pulsing ripple of energy towards our coast...This morning this enegry through for a loop and during the wipeout me and the board go too close and a 2" long 1/2" deep cut got placed right in the center of the bottom of my foot....A bit depressing as the waves were perfect, dolpin, otters, seals, and the such were out in abundance, and I had to go home...A few days to heal. we'll see if I can get ready for work by Sunday....
