Basically provding ample evidence that the internet is as powerful a distribution system for information and ideas as say newspapers, or even television.....and the trully crazy thing is, it can't be manipulated like other media.....Like all great inventions, it hit the market and our current social model used capitalism to direct its development....but it didn't work...people dropped millions and millions of dollars into it....and nothing happened....it didn't change course....the capitalistic system through it's whole bag of tricks at it...and it just plain didn't work....the capitalistic model failed.....like all systems before it capitalism is just a part of historical development whose time is on the way out....and what I am now seeing as the possible new system is open source....it is working....Linux is slowly but surely winning....a better product developed a better way.....I'm typing this on an apple computer so what do I get to say about Linux and open source...well not much except it don't matter what I say....the free market system cannot survive on capitalism or communism alone.....just cause capitalism beat communism is not justification enough for its being the end all system of social control......it does not incorporate the fact that greed and power alone do not push human actions.... in many cases people do things simply because they want to...they want to make their lives better and in an open source sharing model they also make other people lives better with no extra cost or sacrifice....the open sharring of ideas not as separate competing nationalistic or corporate entities....but as a whole species with the best ideas winning.....this system allows for life in its highest forms to be dominant...simplicity, truth, justice, beauty...all these words todays leaders throw around even though we know they have no place in their speeches...these will be the attributes that open source pushes to the forefront...... this is the future that is happening...leaders of the world best recognize
