All's right with the world on this monday, at least if I just concentrate on the world immediatlely around me.....things just cruising right now, even Finneshed the NYT crossword this morning...yeah, only a monday but I did it all by myself...still on high from yesterday as dream perfect Sunday hit......nice midday siesta to avoid the big heat, live good bands in the park two blocks from home(levi valentines, Dusty Nickels, Carver Cordes...) ice cream treats at Foster''s freeze....Then blamo...out to the coast for 3+ hours of waves and smiles.....warm water led to bikinis in board shorts out in the lineup to prove that summer maybe here....then because I laugh and smile in the whole time in the water, folks on shore greeted me and Buddy Evan bonfire, beer, and grilled pork on the beach as people contiuned to surf until blackness and beyond....oh man only two more weeks of student life.....plus visit this weekend from Brendon and Carleton from down south as a "this is your life" cycle of visitors contiune to hit me here in SLO..Quality music you must own...Madlib's "Shades of Blue" on Blue Note is about the best mix of Jazz and hip-hop since Tribe dropped the Low End Theory on us
